Weather

What is happening to the weather today?  Is it what we have done to Mother Earth or are we just going back in time?  I feel as if this is the real weather some days.  The north is cold and the south is hot and humid and always on the look out for another storm.  There are big cities that are crying that storms are knocking down the buildings that are there.  Well it seems to me that years ago there weren't any buildings there to be knocked down by these storms.  Are we actually that dumb?  How can we not see that far ahead of ourselves to know this?  I understand Global Warming about as much as the next guy in line.  Yup its hot, sure 3 degrees hotter than last year at this time, who the hell am I kidding, seriously!  I live by a major river which floods, but not in a flood zone, phew!  I have friends who do and it scare me when it rains a lot.  I have family who was just threatened by tornados and that was scarier than the flooding.  Whose to say which is worse, well I know that water damage is far worse and takes it sweet time thats for sure, but dam the weather will never and I mean never ever be predictable by any measure.  Sure we can poke fun at the meteorologist being 50-50 and getting paid anyway, but they sure have gotten better with technology for sure.

As I was saying before with being real weather is that in the years past and I mean years ago, the weather was feet of snow and not inches and weeks of rain and not just a few days here and there.  If it didn't rain it was a drought and we knew it.  Everyone suffered.  Listen to the music of good old days and that will tell you how life was.  How do we know how the weather is going to be, just remember or at least this is how I will, history repeats itself.

Hip Hop

Hi and I know its been a while since I have been here, so let me fill you in.  I had to have surgery on my hip.  I am feeling good now, its not an artificial one, it was a labreal (sp?) tear.  I had to have all the debris removed as the doctor put it, lol.  Hmmm, garbage in the hip, now thats a good one.  It hurt like crazy, but feels good now unless of course it gets cold and damp out, then its just a stiff achy feeling.  I would never put this pain on my worst enemy, even though I don't have any, well none that I know of.  It was the worst pain I ever experienced in my life prior to having the surgery.

So, anyway now that its over I am feeling better, hooray.  I feel as if its a never ending process in my life.  People who continue to get sick I really do feel bad for because I know what they go through all the time.  I feel worse going through the motions rather than the illness at times.  Just keep your head high and your attitude up you will be fine.
